DIRT HUNTERS MTB — PRIVACY POLICY

Dirt Hunters MTB ("the app") is a mountain-bike ride tracker.
This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

WHAT WE COLLECT
- Rider identifier & display name. The app creates an anonymous Hunter ID
  (e.g. CH-123456) on your device. No email, password or real name is
  required. You may set a display name of your choosing.
- Location & ride data. When you record a hunt, the app collects GPS
  trackpoints (location, altitude, speed, time) to build your ride:
  distance, elevation, speed, route map and timed trail sections.
  Background location is used only while a recording is active, so you
  can lock your phone during a ride. Optional live location sharing with
  your crew is OFF by default and can be switched off at any time.
- Photos. Only the photos you choose to attach to rides or trails are
  uploaded.
- Diagnostics. Basic crash and error reports (no precise location) to
  keep the app stable.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED
- To show your rides, stats, lifetime records and territories to you.
- If a ride is public (the default, changeable per-ride), its summary can
  appear in the community feed, leaderboards and trail section times,
  attributed to your display name.
- Private rides stay on your device and are never shared to feeds or
  leaderboards.

WHERE IT LIVES
Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase). We do not sell
your data, run third-party advertising, or share your data with data
brokers. Map tiles are fetched from mapping providers (OpenStreetMap /
CyclOSM, Ordnance Survey, MapTiler, Apple Maps) — these providers see
standard tile requests, not your identity.

COMMUNITY SAFETY
You can report any content and block any rider from within the app.
Reported content is reviewed and removed within 24 hours where it
breaches our standards.

DELETION & YOUR CHOICES
- Delete account: Profile -> Delete my account permanently removes your
  profile, rides, trails, photos, XP, badges and crew memberships from
  our servers.
- You can delete individual rides, keep rides private, and disable live
  sharing or passive stage timing at any time.
- Location access is always under your control in iOS Settings.

CHILDREN
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no more data
from any user than described above.
